Andrew Mollel, University of Joensuu: The legal and regulatory framework for ICT in developing countries ICT Regulation at the international level: no distinct international ICT body of laws, but a gathering of different related issues: WIPO, UNCITRAL, ITU, WTO, UNDP, etc. But the changes that the Information Society brings in, they affect the national regulation of Tanzania, e.g. Tanzania Evidence Act, 1967; documentary evidence, electronic signature… So, national rules are affected, but there is not such a thing as an international agreement or framework to have a common legal framework.
